The Welch Medical Library is very excited to welcome TaChalla Ferris as an Informationist II. TaChalla comes to us from Goucher College just up the street in Towson, where she has worked as the Instruction and Digital Strategies Librarian since 2023. She has worked extensively with undergraduate and graduate students, collaborated with faculty, and has expertise in instruction. She has previous experience as a faculty librarian at Shoreline Community College out in the state of Washington, as well as working as a librarian within the District of Columbia Public Library system.
TaChalla started in person on Monday, May 19th. TaChalla is an avid knitter and baker and enjoys learning new skills!
