Hello Welch Library website user!
If you are reading this then you are on our new website and are having a whole different experience from our old website. It is probably evident that the look of the website is entirely changed and the design is more current.
What isn’t readily apparent is the website was rebuilt from the ground up with an architecture to support new and improved functionality and to comply with the latest standards. Our team has been working hard over many months to implement the website after a thorough needs assessment, and intense, iterative development.
All your favorite and often used resources are still there, it’s just simpler and easier to get to what you want, when you want it. Searching for articles, journals, books, and more is not just better, it works across devices and platforms, and gets you to both the content you know you want and helps you discover other relevant information.
If you need help it’s at your fingertips: search our new knowledgebase; call, email, or chat with us; or connect with an informationist.
We aim to create the best library website possible serving the information needs of all students, faculty, and staff across Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Health System. We welcome your feedback, and the development continues.
Happy discovery!
