Hello Readers!
Welcome to the 4th meeting of the 2023-2024 Mary Elizabeth Garret Book Club sponsored by the Welch Medical Library. We have been meeting every other month or so in hybrid format - in-person in the 2nd floor Welch Medical Library conference room with a zoom link. We are reading short story collections by individual authors. We enjoyed Baltimore author Laura Lippman’s Seasonal Work in September, Jhumpa Lahiri’s Unaccustomed Earth in November, and Sherman Alexie’s Lone Ranger and Tonto – Fist Fight in Heaven In January 2024. Next we are reading Ann Cameron’s Daughters of Copper Woman.
Please join the discussion of Daughters of Copper Woman from 5-6:30 pm, Wednesday April 17, 2024 in the Welch Medical Library, 2nd floor conference room (204).
