Basic source to use for a wide variety of statistics. Contains a collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States. Selected international data are also included. The Statistical Abstract is also a good guide to other data from the Census Bureau, other Federal agencies, and private organizations. The online version is in PDF. Volumes from 1878-present now searchable and all tables available online.
