The resource will provide coverage of all the major geographical areas of the world, countering any tendency towards Euro-American bias, as well as specific topic areas of current and lasting interest, combining also theoretical discussion with empirical content.

    The Classical Studies area of OHO offers scholarly coverage of all major fields and sub-fields of contemporary research into Classical and ancient Mediterranean culture.     Oxford Scholarly Editions Online (OSEO) currently includes writers active between the 8th and 20th century, plus Classical Latin poetry, history, and drama, including all of Shakespeare’s plays, the complete works of Jane Austen, Ovid, and Virgil, the poetry of John Donne, and works by Adam Smith and Jeremy Bentham. OSEO provides full-text access to hundreds of editions, showcasing their authoritative editorial notes directly alongside the text and enabling advanced search within and between editions.
