A valuable research tool for non-U.S. media sources, the material in WNC was supplied by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS). Analysts from FBIS domestic and overseas bureaus monitored timely and pertinent open-source materials. Coverage is 1995 through 2013, when the service was discontinued.
