Self Registration: You must create a user account using your Hopkins email address the first time you access this database.

Johns Hopkins affiliates can register for an account and access the Washington Post Digital Edition at no cost to themselves. After registering via the website, you can log in from any location to the Washington Post on the web or use the mobile app with your JHU email and the password you created. You may need to return to this page occasionally to refresh your subscription.

Registration Instructions
Follow these directions to create a personal account using your Hopkins email address:

  • Click on Sign In to create an account
  • Use your JHU email address and create your own password
  • Verify your email via a link sent to your email account

If you have an existing personal WaPo subscription linked to your JHU email address, you will need to cancel your personal subscription before activating the JHU-supported campus subscription.
