Self Registration: Johns Hopkins affiliates can register for an account and access the New York Times Digital Edition at no cost to themselves. If you have an existing account, you can convert it to use the Hopkins subscription. After registering, you can log in from any location to the New York Times on the web or use the mobile app with your JHU email and the password you created.
Registration Instructions
Follow these directions to create a personal account using your Hopkins email address, which will allow you to log in to the New York Times website and mobile app.

- Search for Johns Hopkins University
- Instructions for creating a university-supported account appear on the next page.
- Note: There are separate instructions for account creation based on your current location (are you on-campus vs. off-campus)
- Follow the instructions carefully and use your Johns Hopkins email address format (jh.edu) when registering
