Additional Access Instructions
Browser Requirement: The web version is only accessible through the latest version of one of these supported browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari. Firefox is not a supported browser.
Self Registration: To access LSEG Workspace, you must set up an account
- Go to the LSEG Self-Registration Portal.
- Use your Hopkins email in the format “[email protected].”
- You will receive an email from LSEG in your regular Hopkins email account with a link to complete your registration. Click the link and enter the required information.
- LSEG will send you another email after your account is approved, with a link that will allow you to set your password. For your safety, do not use the same password that you use for your Hopkins account. Please allow up to two business days for the registration and approval process.
- Once you set up your account and password, access LSEG Workspace through the library's designated link. Choose to use the web version* or install the desktop client. The same ID and password will work for both.
Refinitiv Desktop Application
- The LSEG desktop application includes a powerful Excel plugin with features that are not available on the Web Client
- You can switch between desktop and web version using same account
- To install, choose the download option at LSEG Workspace
About this Database
LSEG Workspace, formerly Refinitiv Workspace, is useful for tracking industries, companies, private equity and venture capital deals, mergers and acquisitions, loans, bonds, commodities and other market activity. It provides screening and analysis tools for customized reports. It also includes company profiles that feature news, events, earnings estimates, financial fundamentals, valuation, peer comparisons, corporate governance and ESG data, transaction data, corporate filings, ownership, executive biographies and compensation, Board members and analyst research reports.
