Barbara Pralle is the Associate Director for Content & Discovery. She oversees the Collection and User Services departments including Acquisitions, Cataloging, Collection Development, ILL/Document Delivery, and Access Services.
Ms. Pralle began at Johns Hopkins in 2007 as Head of the Entrepreneurial Library Program in the Sheridan Libraries, where she led development of new services, managed service scaling, and led operations streamlining initiatives. She assumed her current role in 2021. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she worked for a decade in scientific publishing and information services.
Ms. Pralle received her bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College, and M.B.A from the University of Chicago. She also is a PMI certified Project Management Professional, and completed Green Belt certification with the John Hopkins Lean Six Sigma Fellowship Program.
