
Claire Twose is the Associate Director for Research Services. She defines the strategy and implementation for research services provided by Welch Library.
Ms. Twose began at Johns Hopkins in 2003 and became the Associate Director for Public Health and Basic Sciences Informationist Services in 2006. She assumed her current role in 2016. She has been teaching searching methods to support systematic reviews for over 10 years and has also provided searching assistance to many systematic review teams, including the Cochrane Eyes and Vision Group. Her research has included information retrieval methods related to systematic reviews as well as the information needs of public health practitioners and intensive care unit (ICU) clinicians. She is a co-author on several systematic reviews.
