Stella Seal is the Associate Director for Hospital, Health Systems, and Community Services. She develops and oversees library service initiatives across the Johns Hopkins Hospitals and in the community, such as the library’s health literacy outreach through the Hopkins Day at the Market.
Ms. Seal began at Johns Hopkins in 1987 as a Circulation Assistant. Before her current appointment in 2015, she was the Associate Director for the Welch Services Center for nine years, during which she initiated several library service innovations such as office delivery of library materials and the library’s chat reference service.
Ms. Seal received her BA from Loyola University Maryland, and her MLS from University of Maryland, College Park.
